Our Team at Riverview Builders
Serving La Crosse County, WI and Surrounding Areas
Noel Stein
Owner and Founder
I have almost 40 years of experience in roofing, remodeling, new construction, and large commercial projects. Some of my favorite projects were working on single-family homes. I really enjoyed working with homeowners to build them exactly what they wanted.
I’m Wisconsin to the core. I grew up in the Eleva Strum area. But I got married and raised 2 boys and 1 girl in Wilmington, NC. I eventually moved back to La Crosse, WI, in 2009. I’ve got 3 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with. And don’t forget my trusty sidekick, my 5-year-old golden retriever, Roxy. I love spending time on or near the river with my friends and family. I enjoy tinkering with cars and motors in my spare time. And I’m known for being able to fix anything.
I run and operate Riverview Builders with the same core skills that I’ve always used in everything that I do. I’m good at problem-solving, visualizing solutions, and communicating with my clients. I’m a firm believer that we can make anything happen with a good plan, quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and shared vision. I always strive for perfection - Never settling for ‘good enough’.
Thomas Stein
Co-owner / Sales Manager
I have over 16 years of industry experience. When I was 17, I started installing roofs, siding, gutters, and windows, and eventually worked my way to closing deals. This industry shaped who I am and who I’m becoming in my personal life and my work life.
I was born here in La Crosse, WI, and grew up with my brother and sister in Wilmington, NC. I played football and lacrosse in high school. Fun fact: I went to the same high school as Michael Jordan! And I was even an extra in the movie The Color of Love with Gena Rowland. I moved back to La Crosse, WI, in 2009. I enjoy camping on the weekends (when time allows) and hanging with my black lab Cooper.
I work hard to keep our clients happy, well-informed, and a part of the entire construction process. I believe that the most important part of any project is working hard to ensure that our crew meets the expectations of our clients with good communication, consistency, and clear expectations.
David Rennes
Project Manager
My diverse work experience ranges from private contractor remodeling projects for office and residential spaces to opening Veterans Disability Clinics across the US. I grew up working with my family to remodel and flip rental properties. I earned a degree in Business Management at Western Tech, and I am also a certified EMT. I have worked with Disabled individuals at ABLE Inc., and I’ve managed residential and commercial properties.
I’m a born and bred Wisconsinite. I live 1.5 miles from where I grew up in La Crosse, WI. I ran cross country and sang in a show choir in high school. These days, I’m big on staying healthy, eating right, and incorporating fitness into my daily routine. My fiancé and I are raising two kids. And I think that keeps us pretty busy in our personal lives.
I pride myself on working for our clients. I find purpose in helping to solve problems and tailoring projects to fit the vision, wants, and needs of our clients. I listen. I am not pushy. I want everyone to walk away from the project feeling like it was done 100% the way they wanted.
Carson Fankhauser
Sales Representative
My sales experience includes working leads at River Valley Remodelers. I focused my time there making sure to work with our clients on the process so they knew what to expect and so that they felt comfortable with each project.
I grew up in Eau Claire and La Crosse. I currently live in La Crosse, WI. I went to Onalaska High. I’ve got one dog and one cat. My passion? Bodybuilding. I’ve been training for the past six years and have my first show coming up. My stats? I can bench 450 lbs and curl 225 lbs.
The passion and dedication I put into bodybuilding are the same as those I bring to any job site and project I work on. I’m dedicated and focused. I enjoy helping our clients through the process of taking their projects from start to finish.
